I grew to know myself.
I want to remind you that you are valuable and have a skillset that is needed by a company. Never stop applying for what you want.

Meet Paige Drane: First Generation College Grad & Marketing Enthusiast
Before closing out our conversation, Paige shared a few unwritten rules she learned as a first generation college student and incoming professional.
Know yourself to market yourself. Half the time, people are uncertain about what they want to accomplish or learn. How can someone hire you if you don’t confidently show who you are?
Listen and learn from your network. Stay up to date on what’s going on in your industry by reading articles and reaching out to people to LinkedIn. Make good use of your connections and don’t be afraid to connect with people.
Teamwork is about much about the individual as it is the group. When collaborating, be sure to track your individual efforts and contributions. While it’s important to build as a team, note your personal contributions to show your input to the overall success of the project.
